Last Lessons #68 - THANKSGIVING

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

This week I am determined to rejoice, pray, and give thanks in all circumstances because it is God’s will for me.  I choose to do God’s will.  But honestly, it is not at all hard for me to be thankful this week because God has been so gracious to me.  He has given me everything I need – especially himself.

But today I want to thank God for you who read my blog each week and for those who make comments that encourage me to keep on writing.

I pray that your Thanksgiving Day will be filled with rejoicing, prayer and thanksgiving remembering that it is God who has given you everything you have.  How will you use his gifts?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

  1. Rosemary - we are thankful for YOU. I look forward to your blog each week. It is encouraging to see you at 92 years of age still living strong. Still sharp enough to edit Bible lessons, keep up with the many ministries you have started or are a key player in, have a blog, and do countless other things we can't see. This gives hope to the rest of us, but it is a challenge, too. You inspire us to press on and not give up nor give in to the challenges that the 90s might bring. Thank you for keeping up with the times we live in and for pressing on to know Him who is Life. May God continue to bless you richly, Rosemary, and to bring glory to Himself through your life. Because you're His.

  2. I am thankful for all the people, including Rosemary, who have poured into me over the years. They have helped me recognize God's gifts to me as well as helped me develop those gifts so others can benefit as well. May God cleans me so I may be a Blessings to those around me today!
